- since 2021: Scientist at the Institute for Diabetes-Technology at the University of Ulm, Germany
- 2010 - 2020: Teaching support at the Universities of Applied Sciences Furtwangen and Ulm as well as the University of Warwick through project student supervision and demonstration in various subjects including mathematics, electronics, computer science, mechanics, robotics and mathematical modelling.
- 2017 - 2019: Peer-review in the scientific journals Scientific Reports, Mathematical Biosciences and Engineering and Advances in Differential Equations
- 2015 - 2016: Academic employee at the University of Applied Sciences Ulm, developing hardware and signal processing methods for the detection of sleep apnea in breath sound recordings and implementing a clinical study to examine the efficacy of an ambulatory sleep monitoring system.
- 2013: Research assistant at the Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tübingen, developing a fatigue a testing apparatus for coronary stents and fixtures for adhesive bond testing.
Awards and Grants
- 2021: Travel scholarship from the German Diabetes Soceity to attend the annual fall conference (450 EUR)
- 2016 - 2019: Doctoral scholarship funded by the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick and the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (GBP 58,000).
- 2013: Award for graduating at top of class (Rank 1/34) at the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen from the Dr. Winkler foundation for the promotion of young talents (1,250 EUR).
- 2011 - 2013: Undergraduate scholarship from the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen due to outstanding performances in the first year of undergraduate studies (2,500 EUR).
